SeaScapes is a four-year programme of focused activity, with projects taking place aiming to boost visibility and shift the focus of individuals and communities to better understanding and protecting our oceans and coastline.

A series of events, engagement and interpretation is woven throughout to ensure we are meaningfully connecting as many people and communities to the seascape as possible. 

Through the co-creation of projects with local communities, we have developed a diverse activity offer that will transcend built-natural-cultural heritage across the seascape. We will use innovative approaches, including creative arts, intergenerational teaching, and cutting-edge technologies to reach new audiences. Together, with local communities, we will write the next chapter for this special seascape – protecting, maintaining and respecting our coastline and seas.

Over the three rounds SeaScapes awarded a total of eighteen grants to local organisations. Each project is summarised below.
