SeaScapes is presenting a 2-day celebration of the coast Tyne to Tees. The aim of this event is to bring communities together to learn and access their coastline at South Shields and Whitburn. This is an all-age event with a range of activities including nest trail, games, crafts, sports, nature walks and interactive presentation promoting stall holders’ project. This is a partnership event including SeaScapes internal partners National Trust, Durham Wildlife Trust and Newcastle University; and external partners Stronger Shores, COAST South Shields and COAST Sunderland.

All set on the backdrop of Souter Lighthouse and The Leas. This is a free event. Please feel free to participate in as much or little as you would like. Some of the activities will be taking place outdoors. Please ensure that you have warm & dry clothing and suitable footwear.

Souter Lighthouse is open but not part of this event and charges will apply to enter the Lighthouse. Café and toilets are available. Parking charges apply.
