Join us for a family coastal bird and wildlife walk this Easter!
Bring all the family for a relaxing wildlife walk along the Seaton Carew dunes and beach to find out all about the seabirds, shorebirds, and cetaceans that can be spotted along our Tyne to Tees coastline.
Learn about our SeaScapes citizen science surveys, why they’re important, and how you can get involved in collecting data to safeguard wildlife and marine habitats. Everyone is welcome to ask questions, share their knowledge and experiences, or simply unwind and enjoy the wildlife.
All ages are welcome to this free event, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Booking is essential.
Please wear suitable outdoor and weather appropriate clothing and footwear. If you have binoculars please bring them, though we will have some available for you to borrow too.
This is a SeaScapes Coastal Wildlife Group event, delivered in partnership with Natural England, and funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
